According to the present invention, disclosed is a backlight unit comprising: a flat substrate; a plurality of light-emitting devices mounted on the substrate; a light-guiding plate installed on an upper portion of the substrate to have an inner wall surface with a plurality of penetration holes corresponding to each of the light-emitting devices; and a plurality of reflectors placed on the penetration holes to have a contacting reflection unit touching the light-emitting devices and a spaced reflection unit spaced apart from the light-emitting devices. The contacting/spaced reflection units are configured to reflect light generated by the light-emitting devices in the direction of transmission of the inner wall surface. The purpose of the present invention is to offer the backlight unit to reduce thickness of a product without using an additional secondary lens and produce a high quality product.
