In this brake device system, a plurality of brake devices are provided to a vehicle, and each brake device includes a brake rotor (5), a friction pad (6), a friction pad drive means (Mk), and a control device (7). The control device (7) is provided with a determination means (30) for determining braking and the like that determines whether the vehicle is being braked or is maintaining a stopped state by having the friction pad (6) make contact to the brake rotor (5) of each braking device, and a thermal conduction suppression means (35) that reduces a braking force by some of the braking devices among the plurality of braking devices so as to reduce the thermal conductivity of brake friction heat to the friction pad drive means when it is determined, by the determination means (30) for determining braking and the like, that the vehicle is being braked or is maintaining a stopped state.
