The purpose of the present invention is to provide a light emitting diode having a long lifespan. More specifically, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a white light emitting diode having a long lifespan. And, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a light emitting diode having high light emitting efficiency. Especially, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a white light emitting diode having high light emitting efficiency. The light emitting diode comprises a first light emitting layer including a first light emitting material between a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and a second light emitting layer coming in contact with the first light emitting layer, and including a second light emitting material, wherein the first light emitting layer is divided into layers located on the positive electrode side and the negative electrode side. At this time, a hole transporting host material is used in the layer located on the positive electrode side, and an electron transporting host material is used in the layer located on the negative electrode side. |
