<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing system cooperatively assigning a series of CT image quality improvement processing on a network, and effecting CT image quality improvement and/or CT imaging dose reduction at one or a plurality of places in a short time with only minimum network bandwidth consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The system reduces CT image noise by successive approximation, and effects the CT image quality improvement and/or CT imaging dose reduction.
