The invention relates to a long-term storage device (1) intended to house a containment case (3) containing radioactive substances, this device comprising a main body (2) having an interior surface delimiting a housing (7). According to the invention, in an unfilled configuration in which the containment case containing radioactive substances is absent from the storage device, the latter comprises a storage case (9) housed in the housing (7) and delimiting a cavity (4) to house the containment case, the storage device also comprising ventilation means allowing air to be circulated between the outside of the storage device and a space delimited between the interior surface of the main body and the storage case (9). |
