METHOD FOR INTERACTION OF A DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM WITH THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE

According to a method for interaction of a driver assistance system with the driver of a vehicle, a time (TFA) for which the driver is attentive is determined as a function of the state of the driver. At least one handling possibility (Hi) of the driver assistance system (10) is determined as a function of a detected driving situation of the vehicle (1). A necessary time (T) for the driver to assume control of the vehicle (1) is determined as a function of the at least one handling possibility (Hi). Interaction of the driver assistance system (10) with the driver is implemented as a function of the comparison of the determined necessary time (T) for the driver to assume control of the vehicle (1) and of the determined time (TFA) for which the driver is attentive.
