[Problem] To provide: a composite zeolite film which enables molecular-level separation relying on molecular sieving or adsorption properties, and in which the surface of a zeolite film having a 12-membered oxygen ring structure such as a FAU-type zeolite film is converted to a zeolite film having an 8-membered oxygen ring structure such as a CHA-type zeolite film to greatly reduce the thickness of a zeolite film layer having an 8-membered oxygen ring structure compared with conventional techniques, and which has excellent molecule separation capability; and a process for producing the composite zeolite film. [Solution] The composite zeolite film comprises: a base; a zeolite film formed on the base and having a 12-membered oxygen ring structure; and a zeolite film formed on the surface of the aforementioned zeolite film and having an 8-membered oxygen ring structure. It is preferred that the zeolite film having a 12-membered oxygen ring structure comprises a FAU-type zeolite film and the zeolite film having an 8-membered oxygen ring structure comprises a CHA-type zeolite film. |
