The present invention relates to a phonebook management method for informing whether a receiver is a free call target or not in a mobile communications terminal. The phonebook management method of the present invention comprises the following steps: obtaining information associated with a remaining call before a call; obtaining the information associated with the remaining call after the call; comparing the information associated with the remaining call before the call with the information associated with the remaining call after the call to determine whether a receiver is a free call target or not; and recording whether the receiver is the free call target or not in the phonebook according to the determination result. According to the present invention, a sender can confirm whether the receiver is the free call target or not before the call so as to send the call even if the sender does not subscribe to a separate service. Therefore, the sender can save communications expenses. |
