The steps include capturing at least one image or video sequence or live video feed representing said storage location via the image capturing device; recognizing any occurrence of the desired item within the captured image or video sequence or live video feed; presenting information related to the location of the desired item; and, in the event that the desired item is not captured by the image capturing device, providing a notification of at least one alternative item.
