<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which suppresses deterioration of image quality due to color mixture of ink forming a background and ink forming an image.SOLUTION: A printer includes: (A) a head which has first and second nozzle arrays and jets first and second ink while relatively moving with respect to a medium in a main scanning direction crossing the first and second nozzle arrays; (B) a conveyance part which relatively moves the medium with respect to the head in a sub-scanning direction along the first and second nozzle arrays; and (C) a controller which controls the head and the conveyance part in the way that jetting operation jetting the first and second ink in relative movement in the main scanning direction and the relative movement in the sub-scanning direction are repeatedly performed, sets a first nozzle array use area and a second nozzle array use area in the sub-scanning direction, and controls the head in the way that a nozzle non-use area where neither nozzles of the first nozzle array nor nozzles of the second nozzle array are used is provided between the first nozzle array use area and the second nozzle array use area.</p> |
