The present invention relates to a poly(arylene ether sulfone) polymer and a polymer electrolyte membrane comprising the same. According to the present invention, the poly(arylene ether sulfone) polymer comprises: a repeat unit represented by chemical formula 1 as a main chain; and a repeat unit represented by chemical formula 2 as a side chain bound to the main chain.
