<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing in a more simple manner a printed matter having a color development property excellent in polarizing action and a high-brilliant feeling in addition to an effect of embossing. <P>SOLUTION: A dry coating film of an aqueous varnish composition is disposed on a part or the whole part of a printed surface printed on a paper base material, and a cured coating film prepared by curing an active energy ray curable overprint varnish composition by irradiation with active energy rays is disposed on the dry coating film. The aqueous varnish composition comprises: at least one kind selected from a group of pearl pigment, metal powder pigment and glass flake; an aqueous resin; a surface adjusting agent; and an aqueous solvent. The active energy ray curable overprint varnish composition satisfies the relationship ofγ<SB>2</SB>-γ<SB>1</SB>≥5 mN/m, whereinγ<SB>1</SB>is surface tension of the dry coating film andγ<SB>2</SB>is surface tension of the active energy ray curable overprint varnish composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
