PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment having a projection function, the equipment suppressing a decrease in the brightness of a projection image even if power supplied to a light source is decreased in order to reduce power consumption. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment having a projection function includes: a projecting unit 200 that projects a projection image by using light generated by the LED light source 223; a light-source power supply control section 101A that controls power supplied to the LED light source 223; and a projection image size control section 101B that controls the size of a projection image projected by the projecting unit 200; a battery remaining capacity estimating circuit 323 that detects a remaining capacity of a battery 321 that supplies power. On the basis of the remaining capacity of the battery 321, the light-source power supply control section 101A alters power supplied to the LED light source 223.
