PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of improving operability when manually feeding a recording medium from the paper ejecting side, by easily guiding the tip of the recording medium having high rigidity up to a manual feed setting position via an ejecting port. SOLUTION: A tray 32 for receiving the ejected recording medium is provided with a first guide member 31 forming an inclined face toward the ejecting port, and a second guide member 30 movably connected to the first guide member. The recording medium P2 manually fed from the tray is guided via the ejecting port 23 by the second guide member. The second guide member is moved to a guide position from an initial position by the tip of the recording medium inserted from the tray, and the recording medium is inserted up to the manual feed setting position in a device body while guiding by the second guide member.
