METHOD FOR DRIVING AN EMERGENCY STEERING GEAR MOTOR USING A TWO-SPEED STARTER

PURPOSE: A driving method of an emergency steerer motor using a two-speed motor starter is provided to reduce the capacity of a starter and an emergency power generator, installation space and manufacturing cost due to the two-speed operation of an emergency steerer motor. CONSTITUTION: A driving method of an emergency steerer motor(11) is as follows. The normal operating state of a main steerer motor(1) is recognized and the main steerer motor operates a usual steerer. The main steere motor operates the usual steerer. If the main steerer motor does not normally operate, the emergency steerer motor is driven using an emergency steerer motor starter and the emergency steerer motor starter is able to be operated at two speeds.
