PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster having a locking apparatus capable of eliminating the generation of a metallic sound and rattling in moving a stretcher and a bed or the like equipped with the caster having the locking apparatus. SOLUTION: In a turning caster 20 having the locking apparatus 10 locking the travelling of a running wheel and storing a locking part of the locking apparatus 10 in a recessed part of a caster fork 19, the locking apparatus 10 is provided with a mechanism of the turning and the locking of the caster 20 at a cam surface of a rotary cam 13, and two radial bearings of an outside bearing 15 and an inside bearing 16 at a turning part.
