PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain the horizontally facing attitude of armrests of a reclining chair including a backrest part and the armrests, even when the backrest part is tilted. SOLUTION: In the reclining chair with the armrests, the angle of each armrest 4 to a backrest part 3 can be changed. A seat part 2 and the backrest part 3 are linked by a link mechanism 5 to be operated by the tilting of the backrest part. The link mechanism includes a main link plate 51 having the center of rotation in the backrest part 3. The main link plate can guide the armrest 4 in such a way that the opening angle to the backrest part 3 becomes larger as the backrest part 3 starts to be tilted.
