PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a level, which is small, easy to handle and with high usefulness, by improving a fabrication yield. SOLUTION: The level is configured to: bundle and align, in predetermined alignment and orientation, bubble tube mounting bases 3 for inclining each of bubble tube measuring parts 1 consisting of a bubble tube at a different inclination angle; insert the bubble tube mounting bases 3 into a case 5 having a shape for housing the bubble tube mounting bases 3 bundled and aligned in the predetermined alignment and orientation; form abutment parts 6, abutting each other, on each of the bubble tube mounting bases 3; and form concavo-convex engagement parts 7 for making the concavo-convex engagement each other with each of abutment parts 6. Thus, if in the predetermined alignment and orientation, each of the bubble tube mounting bases 3 is allowed to be bundled, aligned and housed in the case 5 through the concavo-convex engagement with the concavo-convex engagement part 7 abutted; while, if not in the predetermined alignment and orientation, each of the bubble tube mounting bases 3 abutted is not allowed to make the concavo-convex engagement or to be housed in the case 5 even if the concavo-convex engagement is allowed.
