<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a technique capable of suppressing a current from flowing into a first control part in which the supply of power is turned off from a second control part without making a signal line into a high impedance state. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes an image forming part 5 executing a printing function, a main control unit 12 including a main input terminal P1 and allowing the image forming part to execute a predetermined function, power supply parts 2 and 11 supplying the power to at least the main control unit, and a sub control unit 22 including a sub output terminal P4 connected to the main input terminal through a signal line L2, outputting a signal for the main control unit through the signal line and allowing the power supply parts to turn on and off the supply of the power to the main control unit. When the sub control unit allows the power supply parts to turn off the supply of the power to the main control unit, the sub control unit maintains the electric potential of the signal line at a reference level of a predetermined threshold or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
