PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectral characteristic acquisition device capable of obtaining spectroscopic information and positional information of one-dimensionally aligned plural regions in one time with excellent accuracy.

SOLUTION: A spectral characteristic acquisition device comprises: light application means for applying light onto an image carrier medium; region dividing means for dividing reflectance of the light applied from the light application means onto the image carrier medium into plural regions by an opening array having plural openings; spectroscopic means for propagating the reflectance divided into the plural regions by the region dividing means according to a wavelength in different directions and forming plural diffraction images corresponding to the plural openings; and light-receiving means for receiving the plural diffraction images formed by the spectroscopic means by two-dimensionally aligned plural pixels.
