<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional DC/DC converter capable of realizing high efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A bidirectional DC/DC converter comprises a transformer, a first switching circuit connected to a low-voltage side coil of the transformer, and a second switching circuit connected to a high-voltage side coil of the transformer. During a boosting operation, an alternating-current voltage generated by a switching operation of the first switching circuit is boosted by the transformer, and is rectified by the second switching circuit. During a step-down operation, an alternating-current voltage generated by a switching operation of the second switching circuit is stepped down by the transformer, and is rectified by the first switching circuit. Then, a maximum boosting magnification during the boosting operation is larger than an inverse number of a maximum step-down magnification during the step-down operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
