PURPOSE:To make a map easy to see by placing the map under a transparent display plate where matrix lines are drawn and making light emitting means which are arranged on a guide frame illuminate selectively according to position information. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of an antenna 10, a GPS(global positioning system) integrated controller 20, a display device 30, and the map 50, the matrix lines are drawn on the surface of the transparent display plate 38 in the area surrounded with light emitting diode groups 36a and 36b, and 37a and 37b of the display device 30, and a map on the market or map book 50 is stored under the display plate 38. Therefore, the matrix lines are traced from the position of a light emitting means which is made to illuminate according to the position information to recognize the position on the map. Consequently, road and place names, etc., need not be stored and the position can be displayed without making the map hard to look at. |
