<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cyanobacterial powder for green coloration which is capable of being added to a food or beverage and having little color change to light, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cyanobacterial powder for coloration is obtained by dry-heating dry cyanobacterial powder so that the total cartenoid content in the cyanobacterial powder is 50-200 mg/100 g, the chlorophyl content is 250-1,000 mg/100 g, and the phycocyanin content is 800-3,200 mg/100 g.
