<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply good binding processing to each sheet bundle even when the form of the sheet bundle is different for each sheet bundle. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet binding device includes: a stapleless binding mechanism 50 forming a tongue part in which a portion having one end continuous to a sheet bundle B is left in the sheet bundle B by cutting a portion of the sheet bundle B in a predetermined shape and engaging sheets S of the sheet bundle B with each other by bending the tongue part to bind the sheet bundle B; and a control part 60 changing a speed of binding the sheet bundle B by the stapleless binding mechanism 50, in accordance with the form of the sheet bundle B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
