PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying device in which iron can be removed, and which can be miniaturized and handled more safely without necessitating precise control, and to provide a water purifying module having the water purifying device assembled therein.SOLUTION: The water purifying device 10, in which an iron component dissolved in the water to be purified can be removed, includes: an oxidation unit 20 in which chlorinated cyanuric acid of a tablet state is disposed so that the chlorinated cyanuric acid can be contacted with the water to be treated; a filtration unit 30 which is disposed on the downstream side of the oxidation unit 20; and an active carbon unit 40 which is disposed on the downstream side of the filtration unit 30.
