SCELL RADIO LINK MONITORING AND RADIO LINK FAILURE HANDLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and devices to perform a SCELL radio link monitoring and a radio link failure handling.SOLUTION: User equipment UE 103 establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection to a base station eNB 101. The UE 103 executes carrier aggregation for a plurality of component carriers (CC). The UE 103 not only executes a radio link monitoring in a primary serving cell PCELL, but also executes a radio link monitoring in a selected reference secondary serving cell (SCELL). When the reference SCELL performance is less than a prescribed criterion, the UE 103 and the eNB 101 execute a certain action (RLM/RFL handling) in the secondary serving cell SCELL 1 to 4 to prevent a spurious and uncontrollable uplink SCELL transmission and an interference to another UE.
