PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing structure for a discharge lamp, which can be stored even in a narrow space and which can make a risk of breakage lower than ever.SOLUTION: One higher-mass electrode of a pair of electrodes arranged inside a luminous tube is arranged on a downside in a vertical direction, and a diameter-reduced part on the downside in the vertical direction with respect to a maximum diameter part of the luminous tube is held by a buffer. Thus, a discharge lamp housed in a packing box in a state along the vertical direction can be stably stored, and a breakage of the discharge lamp is reduced. |
