PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling of an orifice plug in a simple method.SOLUTION: A cylinder device includes a piston rod 2 which is inserted into a cylinder 1 so as to move forward and rearward. The piston rod 2 includes: a rod part 11 which extends to an exterior part of the cylinder 1; and a piston 12 which is connected with an end part of the rod part 11 and slidably moves in the cylinder 1. The rod part 11 includes: a rod inner space 16 which is formed in the rod part 11 and communicates with a piston side chamber 13 of the cylinder 1; a first communication passage 18 which connects the rod inner space 16 with a rod side chamber 14 of the cylinder 1; and an orifice plug 20 which is replaceably provided in the first communication passage 18. The piston 12 is connected with the rod part 11 so as to cover a part of the orifice plug 20. |
