PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetector capable of measurement with a high counting rate.SOLUTION: The photodetector comprises: a plurality of photoelectric converters 50 for outputting a detection signal obtained by converting incident light to an electric charge; a resistor 51 serially connected to the output terminal of each photoelectric converter 50; and a reset unit 53 which is parallelly connected to the resistor 51 and resets the output terminal of the photoelectric converter 50 to a reset level in response to the detection signal.
