The present invention relates to a piezo actuator and a camera module for a portable terminal using the piezo actuator and, more particularly, to a piezo actuator for actuating a lens capable of adjusting the focus or view angles of a camera using a piezoelectric element, and a camera module for a portable terminal using the piezo actuator. The piezo actuator for actuating a lens according to the present invention moves a camera lens in the direction of the optical axis of the lens, and comprises: a circuit board having a terminal part formed thereon; a piezoelectric element which faces the circuit board; a connector of which one surface is in contact with the terminal part and the other surface is in contact with the piezoelectric element so that a power source is connected to the piezoelectric element, the connector being elastically deformed upon movement of the piezoelectric element so as to maintain the contact between the terminal part and the piezoelectric element; a resonance part which is actuated by the piezoelectric element and moves the lens; and a support member which is mounted on the circuit board and to which the resonance part is coupled.
