<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork terminal with a novel structure which can reduce a projection height from a support position on a printed circuit board or the like, while ensuring spring properties of a pressure-contact part.SOLUTION: A tuning-fork terminal 10 has, on one end in the lengthwise direction, a slot 22 into which a mating tab terminal 46 is inserted. The tuning-fork terminal 10 also comprises a pair of pressure-contact parts 26, 26. The pressure-contact parts 26, 26 project inward in a facing direction from facing end surfaces 25, 25 of a pair of pressure-contact pieces 24, 24 defining the slot 22 so as to be brought into pressure-contact with the tab terminal 46. At least one of the pair of pressure-contact parts 26, 26 is provided with a deformation allowable part 32 at a portion spaced apart outward of the facing direction from an inner edge part 28 in the facing direction. The inner edge part 28 can be elastically deformed to the deformation allowable part 32 side.</p> |
