<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber device capable of relaxing force exerted upon a junction between a module and an optical fiber when the force is applied to the optical fiber in a tensile direction.SOLUTION: An optical fiber device 10 comprises: a module 12; an optical fiber 14 that has a first curved portion 14A one end of which is fixed to a module 12 and a second portion 14B which is connected to the other end of the first portion 14A and positioned further apart from the module 12 than the first portion 14A; a hood 16 that covers the first portion 14A and exposes the second portion 14B to an outside; and an elastic body 20 that is provided in between a concave surface 14a formed in the first portion 14A by curving the first portion 14A and an opposing part 16A, a portion of the hood 16 opposed to the concave surface 14a. When the optical fiber 14 is subjected to force in a tensile direction, the concave surface 14a hits the elastic body 20, so that the elastic body 20 is deformed.</p> |
