An optical fiber connector assembly (2) includes a connector housing (3), a positioning unit (4), an outer shell (51) and a fastening unit (7). The positioning unit (4) is mounted in the connector housing (3) through an access opening (341). The outer shell (51) receives the connector housing (3), and has first and second outer threads (519, 510) disposed at opposite sides of an outer flange (518) thereof. The fastening unit (7) includes a positioning ring (71) capable of engaging one of the first and second outer threads (519, 510), and an elastic ring (72) disposed between the positioning ring (71) and the outer flange (518) of the outer shell (51). |
