PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a community where users interact mutually on a temporary basis.SOLUTION: A system for providing a community, which provides a community where a plurality of community members can send and receive messages among them, comprises: a community information management unit for acquiring user identification information of the community members and managing community information associating user identification information of the community members and community identification information; a membership period management unit for managing a community membership period; a message handling unit for referring to the community information to handle messages so that a message from a terminal device of a member belonging to a group can be sent to a terminal device of another member belonging to the group during a community membership period; and a prohibition unit for prohibiting access to community services partially or totally after the community membership period has ended.
