<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initial load drive unit which can drive a motor by effectively utilizing regenerative power energy obtained at the deceleration of an inertial load, and also can make the capacity of a power facility small. <P>SOLUTION: This initial load drive unit is provided with a motor which accelerates and decelerates an inertial load, an inverter which drives the motor using DC power energy accumulated in a capacitor that accumulates power energy obtained by a converter for getting DC power energy by converting input AC power into DC or the DC power energy obtained by the converter, and also accumulates the regenerative energy obtained by the motor in the capacitor, and a power controller which controls the output current of the converter by comparing a voltage value which is obtained by a filter that removes frequency components double a natural frequency in the inertial load from the voltage value detected by a voltage detector for detecting a voltage added to the capacitor prior to an output with an average voltage value which is held in an average voltage setter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
