A pre-metered dry powder inhaler comprises a dry powder medicament dose (21) and container. The dose comprises particles of tiotropium and dry excipient loaded into the container. The container constitutes a dry high barrier seal (31) which prevents ingress of moisture. The dry powder medicament dose in the container is formed by volumetric or electric field dosing. The dry powder medicament dose is loaded into the container and comprises particles of tiotropium and particles of dry excipient. The container constitutes a dry, high barrier seal (31), where the high barrier seal of the container prevents ingress of moisture thus preserving the dry powder medicament dose. The dry powder medicament dose in the container has been formed by either volumetric or electric field dose forming methods. An independent claim is also included for a dry powder medicament dose loaded into a container and formed by either volumetric or electric field dose forming methods, comprising particles of tiotropium and particles of dry excipient, where the container constitutes a dry, high barrier seal preventing ingress of moisture and thus preserving the dry powder medicament dose. |
