PURPOSE: To embody a machine capable of manufacturing a spiral pipe of a specified diameter or less by forming a metal strip into the spiral pipe of the specified diameter inside a lateral directional bore of a forming head. CONSTITUTION: A spiral pipe 23 having the diameter of one inch (about 25 mm) or less is formed with a forming device. Thereupon, a metal strip 15 is formed into the spiral pipe 23 having the diameter of one inch or less inside a lateral directional bore 30 of a forming head 29. The strip 15 is formed into the pipe 23 around a freely rotatable mandrel 60 inside the lateral directional bore 30 of the forming head 29. The formed pipe is cut. Thus, the spiral pipe having the diameter of one inch or less is formed and cut.
