<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely cool a swash plate at low cost in a swash plate compressor. <P>SOLUTION: The swash plate compressor 1 includes the swash plate 3 rotating with accompanying rotation of a drive shaft and allowing adjustment of inclination angle to the drive shaft, a piston driven in an axial direction by oscillation accompanying rotation of the swash plate 3, a pair of piston shoes 11 arranged between the piston and the swash plate 3 and transmitting axial direction oscillation of the swash plate 3 to the piston while forming a slide locus 9 on the swash plate 3, and a compressor housing storing each function, refrigerant, and oil containing refrigerant. A swash plate cooling hole 19 cooling the swash plate 3 by making the refrigerant and the oil containing refrigerant flow in from an flow-in port 15 and flow out from a flow-out port 17 is provided on the swash plate 3.
