<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source of high-efficiency light emission by inexpensive wiring by using a plurality of surface emission elements. <P>SOLUTION: This light source includes a plurality of light emitting modules 1a, 1b, 1c which are aggregated and arranged in a plane. Each of the light emitting modules 1a, 1b, 1c includes a plurality of surface emission elements which are aggregated and arranged in a plane, and a housing for housing the surface emission elements in the inside thereof. The housing forms electric paths electrically connected to the surface emission elements for supplying power to the surface emission elements. The plurality of light emitting modules 1a, 1b, 1c are divided into a plurality of groups, and the plurality of light emitting modules 1a, 1b, 1c belonging to each group are electrically connected in series to one another to be supplied with power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
