OPTICAL LAMINATE, POLARIZING PLATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical laminate capable of keeping superior antistatic performance even under a high temperature low humidity environment and having remarkably superior heat resistance.

SOLUTION: The optical laminate has a hard coat layer on a translucent base material. The hard coat layer contains quaternary ammonium salt and a compound having a semipolar structure, wherein the content of the compound having the semipolar structure is 0.1-5 mass%, total content of the quaternary ammonium salt and the compound having the semipolar structure is 1-20 mass% and the ratio of the compound having the semipolar structure per 100 mass% in total of the quaternary ammonium salt and the compound having the semipolar structure is ≥1 mass% and <35 mass%.
