PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette improved in easiness of crushing a perfume capsule contained in a filter. ! SOLUTION: A cigarette includes: a tobacco rod 11 including a tobacco filler 11a and a paper roll 11b winding around the tobacco filler 11a; a filter 12 including a filter plug 12a containing a filtering medium, a filter wrapping paper 12b wound up around the filter plug 12a, and a perfume capsule 12c positioned in the filter 12 and holding a content liquid containing the perfume in a coating; and a tip paper 13 wound up on the tobacco rod 11 and the filter 12 so as to connect the tobacco rod 11 with the filter 12. The cigarette is characterized in that at least one paper of the filter wrapping paper 12b and the tip paper 13 has a density of 0.5-1.0 g/cm3 and a thickness of 100-250 μm. !
