<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measurement device and a distance measurement method which, while using a multicolor image and a monochrome image for different purposes, is able to measure a distance with higher accuracy even when there exists a reflected glare or a large difference between light and shade.SOLUTION: A distance measurement device according to the present invention comprises a color array camera 32A, a monochrome array camera 32B, a distance computation unit for calculating a distance to an object to be measured on the basis of a multicolor image by the color array camera 32A and a monochrome image by the monochrome array camera 32B, and first and second optical filter units 31A, 31B for projecting incident light so as to be optically different from each other for each region. The color array camera 32A captures an optical image of the object via the first optical filter unit 31A, and the monochrome array camera 32B captures an optical image of the object via the second optical filter unit 31B.</p> |
