The device (1) is characterized by a holding device (3) for fixation of a first housing sleeve (5) that accommodates a pharmaceutical container, particularly a carpule (23), and by a stop (43) for limiting a displacement of a second housing sleeve (35) relative to the first housing sleeve (5).

1. An assembly device for assembly of a pharmaceutical application pen, the assembly device comprising:
a holding device for fixation of a first housing sleeve, said first housing sleeve accommodates a carpule; a stop for abutting a lowermost surface of a second housing sleeve and limiting displacement of the second housing sleeve relative to the first housing sleeve, the stop being part of the assembly device; at least one first sensor which registers a specific position of the first housing sleeve in a vicinity of the holding device and which cooperates with the holding device and activates the holding device when the first housing sleeve arrives at the specific position; and at least one second sensor which detects contact of the second housing sleeve on the stop and at least one third sensor which detects the position of the carpule in the first housing sleeve.
