摘要 The invention relates to a temperature sensor (24) for measuring the temperature on or in a living body. The temperature sensor (24) includes a plurality of thermocouples arranged distributed on a measurement surface (30) of the sensor (24) and electrically connected to create at least one series circuit, wherein thermojunctions (16, 18) formed by the thermocouples in each series circuit are divided into at least two, and preferably a total of two, spatially separate groups such that in each group when there is a change in temperature the thermojunctions (16, 18) cause an equivalent change in voltage.

A temperature sensor for measuring the temperature in a living body, the temperature sensor comprising: a flexible circuit board having a first layer and a second layer, wherein the first layer has a plurality of first conductors disposed therein, and wherein the second layer has a plurality of second conductors disposed therein, the plurality of second conductors being of a different material than the plurality of first conductors, wherein the first and second electrical conductors form a plurality of thermocouples electrically connected to create at least a first series circuit; wherein thermojunctions formed by the thermocouples in the first series circuit are divided into first and second spatially separate groups such that in each of the first and second groups when there is a change in temperature the thermojunctions cause an equi-directional change in voltage, wherein the first and second layers are arranged to form a cylindrical measurement surface of the sensor, and wherein the first and second groups of thermojunctions are arranged in different circumferential sections of the cylindrical measurement surface.
