The invention relates to a portable dryer for drying pieces of clothing, which dryer (10) includes
- a box-like body (12),
- a fan (14) installed inside the body (12) for blowing drying air into the pieces of clothing (16) to be dried,
- heating means (18) installed inside the body (12) for heating the blown air,
- support means (20) for supporting a piece of clothing (16) on the dryer (10), which support means (20) include a divider plate (22) installed inside the body (12) for distributing the blown air to the support means (20) and drying pipes (26), open at an end (24), attached to the said divider plate (22) for leading the hot air to the piece of clothing (16). The dryer is arranged to be carried by hand and the said dryer (10) has transport and operating positions, of which in the transport position the dryer (10) is arranged to become smaller than the operating position by altering the position of the support means (20). |
