CASSETTE FOR FIXING GLASS SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR ACCESSING GLASS SUBSTRATE

A cassette for fixing glass substrates, the cassette comprising a frame body and support plates; the frame body has an opening, and the support plates are disposed at the two sides of the inner walls of the frame body; the glass substrates are placed through the opening of the frame body, and are supported by the support plates; the cassette is additionally provided with shields at the opening of the cassette, capable of moving in the vertical direction of the glass substrates; when moved to be against a glass substrate, the shield blocks the glass substrate and prevents the glass substrate from falling out of the frame body; when the shield is moved to be staggered with a glass substrate, the glass substrate is free to handle. The present invention facilitates access to the glass substrates and also ensures steady and safe transport of the glass substrates, and improves transportation speed, productivity and approved product rate of the glass substrates. Also provided is the method of accessing the glass substrates using the cassette.
