The present invention discloses an emotion-voice synthesizing device, an operation method thereof, and a mobile terminal including the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the emotion-voice synthesizing device includes: a sentence recognition unit recognizing an input sentence; a word emotion determining unit which calculates probability vectors for predefined emotions for the respective words in the recognized sentence and estimating the emotion and rhyme of the respective words based on the probability vectors; and an emotion-voice synthesizing unit. The emotion-voice synthesizing unit gradually calculates the degree of similarity regarding the emotion and rhyme of the adjacent words based on the context information of the recognized sentence, applies weight values to the phoneme candidates corresponding to the respective words based on the degree of similarity and the probability vectors, and selects the phoneme candidate having the minimum distance value between the target pitch, duration, and target pitch contour among the phoneme candidates applied with the weight value, thereby synthesizing the emotion-voice corresponding to the recognized sentence in the optimum unit. |
