<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent for a carbon fiber, having excellent fiber sizing properties of a carbon fiber, and usable for producing a molding that has an excellent strength including bending strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a sizing agent for a carbon fiber including: an acrylic resin (A) having at least one kind of functional group (X), which is selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group derived from a monocarboxylic acid, hydroxyl group, and amino group, of 2 to 10 mmol/g; and an aqueous medium (B). The acrylic resin (A) is obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture (a) including at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryl monomer (a1) having one carboxyl group; a (meth)acryl monomer (a2) having hydroxyl group; and a (meth)acryl monomer (a3) having amino group.</p> |
