An electrode for applying electrical treatment, particularly for dental use, has an impedance set in the handle in such a position as to be in contact with the operator's hand. The impedance is traversed by the treating current and as this flows the impedance becomes heated and thereby gives an indication of the progress of the treatment. In order to ensure that the operator's hand shall be in contact with the impedance it may be flexibly mounted in association with a contact blade so that it must be pressed to close the contact which controls the passage of treating current. |
