To manufacture a battery module, battery bodies 22, in each of which a battery cell 23 and a heat conductive plate 28 are held on a battery holder 24, are provided in parallel. At this time, using a U-shaped jig 71, displacement of each battery body 22 is restricted.The jig 71 has a rectangular bottom part 72, and a first wall part 73 and a second wall part 74 are extended upright from both ends of the bottom part 72 in a short side direction. Each battery body 22 is restricted from movement between the wall parts 73, 74. A fixed face 53 is aligned along the inner surface 74a of the second wall part 74. In this state, the battery bodies 22 are integrated, thereby making it possible to manufacture a battery module in which relative displacement of the fixed faces 53 is restricted.
